Help Ukrainian Nationals Locally
Caldicot Town Team are working with other local organisations and groups to be able to provide as much help and support for Ukrainian Nationals that have moved to the area. Here is how you can help as well.
With the arrival of Ukrainian Nationals into the area, there are several ways in which you can help support them and enable their transition into the area to be as welcoming and smooth as possible.
There are many ways in which you can help and support Ukrainian Nationals, we have complied a short list below of various options.
Clothing Donations for a Clothes Bank
Many of those who have arrived have no or very little clothing and supplies and are in desperate need of the communities support. Some families are not lucky enough to have been placed with host families or their own accommodation yet and are currently staying in residential centres across Wales, these residential centres are unable to provide any more than somewhere to sleep and basic meals.
We know it is a big ask, especially in this climate but we would be hugely grateful if you could freshly wash and dry clothes before bringing them to us, this will help us save time and money during sorting. Please pop a note with clothing if you have been able to do this. We can take items in a bag or on hangers.

We are looking for all sizes, please do not put any underwear with your donation, it will not be distributed.
Financial Donations
Cash donations through Caldicot Town Team allow us to be able to purchase specific items to help Ukrainian Nationals. These could include new underwear, personal hygiene products, activity packs for children and other goods and services.
Your donation is an incredible show of support and is greatly appreciated within the community, Ukrainians are very grateful for all the support and help that has come from our community.
